Aerial lift rental: over 250 machines ready for work
RK Rental rents cherry pickers (boom-type aerial work platforms, articulating and telescopic), scissor lifts and vertical mast lifts, as well as telehandlers and mini excavators: 100 lift models from 7.7 m to 56.9 m of working height, for indoor and outdoor use, electric and diesel. Our fleet has over 250 machines: many models are available in several units, so the catalogue lists fewer models than there are machines in the yard. In technical supervision rules these machines are called mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs). We arrange delivery from our base in Brzoza near Bydgoszcz to customers across Poland; every machine has a current UDT inspection (UDT is Poland's Office of Technical Inspection) and a data sheet with dimensions. Aerial lift rental costs from PLN 80 + VAT per day: scissor lifts from PLN 80, articulating boom lifts from PLN 160, telescopic boom lifts from PLN 180 (rates for rentals of more than 14 days; shorter rentals have a higher daily rate). Full price list.

If something breaks down, we repair it on site, and for demanding customers we supply a replacement machine. Not sure what to choose? Describe the job and we will select the equipment.
From enquiry to a machine on site
How does the machine get to your site?
Three steps from enquiry to a working lift. What to have ready on site is described in our guide How to prepare a construction site for delivery.
- 1
We agree the machine, date and location
Tell us the working height, the address and the date. We choose the model, give you a quote including the cost of transport and agree the delivery day. When a transport slot is free, delivery is often possible within 24 hours of confirmation. Deliveries and returns run in one queue, so the earlier you let us know, the more dates you can choose from.
- 2
The machine arrives on site
We arrange delivery. The machine arrives with a current UDT inspection (UDT is the Polish Office of Technical Inspection) and its documentation. Please prepare a firm unloading area, access for a lorry and a person to receive the machine and go through a short briefing. You can ask about an operator when you request the quote.
- 3
We collect it when the job is done
When the work is finished, we agree a date and arrange collection of the equipment. The invoice follows the quote agreed beforehand.
Aerial lift rental: frequently asked questions
What types of aerial lifts can I rent from RK Rental?
Electric and diesel scissor lifts, electric and diesel articulating boom lifts, diesel telescopic boom lifts, self-propelled vertical mast lifts, manual material lifts (installation lifts), telehandlers and mini excavators: over 250 machines in the fleet in total.
Is a cherry picker the same as an aerial work platform?
Yes. A “cherry picker” is the everyday name for a boom-type aerial work platform (MEWP): a lift with a basket in which the operator works at height. Scissor lifts are aerial work platforms too. At RK Rental you can rent articulating and telescopic boom lifts (cherry pickers), scissor lifts and vertical mast lifts; our page “Cherry picker rental” helps you choose.
How do I choose a lift for my job?
Three things matter most: the working height you need (remember the “+2 m” rule: a person works about 2 m above the basket floor), the horizontal outreach at the work location and the ground (firm or rough). Describe the job and we will select the right type and model.
Do you deliver the equipment to the site?
Yes. We arrange transport of lifts and deliver across Poland, from our base in Brzoza near Bydgoszcz, most often around Bydgoszcz, Toruń and Poznań. When a transport slot is free, delivery is often possible within 24 hours of confirmation; we agree the exact day when we give you the quote.
Do the rented machines have a current UDT inspection?
Yes. Every machine arrives on site after inspection, with a current UDT inspection (UDT is the Polish Office of Technical Inspection; where regulations require it) and full documentation. To operate a lift independently, the operator must hold a valid UDT licence; we also run our own training courses.
How much does it cost to rent a lift?
Renting a lift costs from PLN 80 + VAT per day, depending on the type of machine and the rental period. Indicative rates per day, plus VAT:
| Machine type | Over 14 days | 1–3 days |
|---|---|---|
| Electric scissor lifts | from PLN 80 | from PLN 200 |
| Diesel (rough terrain) scissor lifts | from PLN 150 | from PLN 300 |
| Electric articulating boom lifts | from PLN 200 | from PLN 350 |
| Diesel articulating boom lifts | from PLN 160 | from PLN 300 |
| Diesel telescopic boom lifts | from PLN 180 | from PLN 300 |
| Telehandlers | from PLN 510 | from PLN 640 |
| Vertical mast lifts | from PLN 140 | from PLN 250 |
| Mini excavators | from PLN 300 | from PLN 500 |
Rates are net per day, excluding transport (transport is quoted separately, from PLN 250 net). The lowest rate applies to rentals of more than 14 days. We confirm the final price when you book, because it depends on the model, the rental period and the delivery location. The full rate table is on our price list (fajnepodnosniki.pl/en/prices). Give us the model, date and location and we will prepare a binding quote.
What are the terms of renting a lift from RK Rental?
Rental is governed by the General Rental Terms and Conditions (OWW): an order placed in writing or by e-mail, handover and return of the machine against a protocol, rates net plus 23% VAT, payment within 14 days of the invoice, operation by an operator holding the required qualifications (e.g. UDT) and, in the event of a breakdown not caused by the renter, rent reduced by the period of downtime. The full text is on the “Rental terms” page (an informational translation; the Polish version is binding).
Who can rent from RK Rental?
We rent to companies registered for VAT, on a VAT invoice. We reply in writing in English (e-mail, WhatsApp) and by phone in Polish or English, Monday to Friday 7:30 to 15:30 Polish time.
Can I rent a lift with an operator?
On request: this is possible when one of our service technicians qualified as an operator is free on that date. Ask when you request a quote. As standard, the machine is operated by the customer's operator holding a UDT licence; we also run our own training courses with an examination.
We will choose the machine for your job
Tell us what needs doing, where, at what height and for how long, and we will help you choose the right lift and prepare a rental quote.
