Mobile hydraulic hose crimping

Has a hydraulic hose burst in your machine? We come with a crimping press and make a new hose on site, travelling to your construction site, without taking the equipment to a workshop. The hose costs from PLN 70 + VAT according to the price list, the technician's work is PLN 240 + VAT per hour counted from arrival at the machine, and travel is PLN 3.50 + VAT per km, counted one way.

Report a hose failure

Hydraulic hose crimping means making a new high-pressure hose to replace a damaged one. In construction machines (aerial lifts, telehandlers, excavators and forklift trucks) the hydraulic hose is one of the components that wear out most often: it bursts, chafes against the structure and starts to "sweat" oil under pressure. The result is always the same: the machine stops.

That is why we do it on site, travelling to where the machine works. A specialised service van with a professional body carries the crimping press, a stock of hoses of different diameters and a full set of fittings. The damaged hose is our pattern: we choose an identical hose and crimp the new one right next to the machine, on your construction site or at your company.

We do not guess. We select the diameter, the number of braids and the type of fittings for the real working pressure and the medium in the installation, and after fitting we check for leaks and top up the oil. The machine returns to work without being taken to a workshop.

How to tell that a hose needs replacing, how many years it can last and what to do when it bursts in a lift is described in our guide on repairing a hydraulic hose.

We crimp hoses on site: the crimping press travels in the service van straight to the machine. A new hose is made by crimping (swaging) a sleeve onto the hose and the fitting, selected for the pressure of your machine.

Why is crimping hoses on site worth it?

We come to the machine

We arrive in a specialised service van with a crimping press and go straight to the machine, to your construction site or company premises.

New hose made on the spot

The damaged hose is the pattern. We select and crimp the new hose on site, usually during one visit, with no weeks of waiting.

Matched to the pressure

We select the diameter, the braid type and the fittings to suit the working pressure and the medium in your machine, so the hose works safely and not on the limit.

Less downtime

A burst hydraulic hose means an immobilised machine. Replacing it on site, at an agreed time, shortens the stoppage and saves the cost of transporting the machine to a workshop.

What does mobile hydraulic hose crimping include?

  • Crimping and replacement of high-pressure hydraulic hoses
  • Selection of the hose and fittings from the damaged hose (the pattern)
  • Single and multiple braid hoses, diameters from DN06 to DN25
  • Metric, inch, ORFS, JIC and BSP fittings: straight and angled
  • Repair of the machine's hydraulic installation at the place of the breakdown
  • Topping up and checking the hydraulic oil after the hose is replaced

How does hose crimping work, step by step?

  1. 1

    Report the breakdown

You call and tell us which machine it is and where it stands, and we agree the date of the visit. If you can, send a photo of the burst hose and of the machine's rating plate.

  2. 2

    Travel to the machine

At the agreed time we arrive in the service van with the press, hoses and a full set of fittings, at your construction site or company premises.

  3. 3

    Crimping on site

We remove the damaged hose, select the hose and fittings as in the original, crimp the new hose and fit it to the machine.

  4. 4

    Test and back to work

We check for leaks under pressure, top up the oil and the machine returns to work without being taken to a workshop.

How much does making a hydraulic hose cost?

We charge for a hose repair at your site like this: the technician's time counted from arrival at the machine plus the hose according to the price list. The price list covers the hose repair itself on site, calculated by length and without travel: a double-braid hose (2SN), two standard fittings (metric, inch or BSP, straight) and crimping. All prices are net, plus VAT.

DN25PLN 220PLN 290+PLN 90
  • Technician's work: PLN 240 + VAT per hour, counted from arrival at the machine; every started hour is charged. Two technicians at once: PLN 300 + VAT per hour for the team.
  • Travel: PLN 3.50 + VAT per km, counted one way only, the return is included.
  • Angled fittings, ORFS and JIC fittings and four-braid hoses (4SP/4SH): quoted on site from the pattern.

Where we travel: Bydgoszcz, Brzoza near Bydgoszcz and the whole Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, and neighbouring areas by arrangement. We are based in Brzoza, close to the Bydgoszcz ring road, and we reach construction sites in the region at an agreed time.

Hydraulic hose crimping: frequently asked questions

Do you crimp hydraulic hoses on site, on a construction site?

Yes. It is a mobile service: we arrive in a specialised service van with a crimping press and a stock of hoses and fittings, and we make the new hose right next to the machine. You do not have to transport the equipment to a workshop.

When will you make the new hose?

After we agree the date of the visit: service trips, deliveries and returns go in one queue, so we confirm the date by phone. One visit is usually enough if the hose and fittings you need are on the service van. The damaged hose is the pattern: we select the diameter, the type and the fittings, and crimp a new hose without taking the machine to a workshop.

What machines do you make hoses for?

For aerial lifts and mobile elevating work platforms, telehandlers, excavators, forklift trucks and other construction and agricultural machines, regardless of brand.

What hoses and pressures do you handle?

Hydraulic hoses in the typical range of diameters (from DN06 to DN25), single and multiple braid, for high working pressures, with fittings in metric, inch, ORFS, JIC and BSP standards.

How much does making a hydraulic hose on site cost?

We charge for a hose repair at your site like this: the technician's time counted from arrival at the machine (PLN 240 + VAT per hour, every started hour is charged) plus the hose according to the price list. The price list covers the hose repair itself on site, calculated by length and without travel: a double-braid hose with two crimped standard fittings costs from PLN 70 + VAT (DN06 up to 1 m); for example DN10 up to 1 m is PLN 80 and DN12 up to 2 m is PLN 125. Travel is PLN 3.50 + VAT per km, counted one way only (the return is included). Angled fittings, ORFS and JIC fittings and four-braid hoses are quoted on site.

What area do you cover?

Bydgoszcz, Brzoza and the whole Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship (województwo kujawsko-pomorskie) and, if needed, neighbouring areas as well. We agree the travel when you report the fault.

Burst hose? Call us and we will crimp a new one on site

The sooner you report it, the shorter the machine stands. Describe the fault and we will agree the travel and make a new hydraulic hose in the field.
