Which aerial lift for industry, a warehouse or an installation firm?

RK Rental rents out cherry pickers (aerial work platforms, MEWPs) not only for construction sites. Our machines work in factories on plant maintenance, in warehouses and logistics centres, in food plants, processing plants and cold stores, and for installation firms: refrigeration and air conditioning, ventilation, electrical and lighting, fire protection, plumbing and drainage, alarms and CCTV.

For work in halls that stay in use we rent electric scissor lifts and articulating boom lifts: no exhaust fumes, quiet, on non-marking tyres. We arrange delivery across Poland, rent by the day, by the week or for months, and we run the mobile service and UDT training for your staff ourselves. Aerial lift rental costs from PLN 80 + VAT per day: scissor lifts from PLN 80, articulating boom lifts from PLN 160, telescopic boom lifts from PLN 180 (rates for rentals of more than 14 days; shorter rentals have a higher daily rate).

What does rental look like for a plant or an installation firm?

  • Matching the machine to the job. You give us the height of the work point, obstacles, door width and type of floor, and we propose a model from a fleet of over 250 machines.
  • Rental period matched to the work. A day or a few days is enough for one inspection; for installation work and ongoing plant maintenance long-term rental pays off.
  • Delivery and collection. We arrange transport, across Poland. Rental prices are in the price list and the terms in the General Rental Terms.
  • Service during the rental. If something breaks down, our mobile service comes out and, if needed, we supply a replacement machine.
  • Qualifications. We will train your staff on a UDT course with an exam.

Frequently asked questions

Does RK Rental rent aerial lifts only for construction sites?

No. Construction is a large part of our work, but we also rent aerial lifts to factories and plant maintenance departments, warehouses and logistics centres, food plants, processing plants and cold stores, and to installation firms: refrigeration and air conditioning, ventilation, electrical and lighting, fire protection, plumbing and drainage, alarms and CCTV. We also rent to property managers, advertising agencies and event organisers.

Which aerial lift for work in a hall or plant that stays in use?

An electric one: a scissor lift when you can stand under the place of work, or an articulating boom lift when you need to reach over a rack, a line or a machine. Electric aerial lifts have no exhaust fumes, are quiet and have non-marking tyres, so they work in production halls, warehouses, shops and food plants without shutting down operations. The area under the platform is fenced off for the duration of the work.

Can I rent an aerial lift for longer, for example for a plant maintenance department?

Yes. We rent short-term, by the day or the week, and long-term, for months. For longer rentals the daily rate is lower, and inspections, UDT inspections and service stay on our side. If the machine breaks down, our mobile service repairs it on site and, if needed, we supply a replacement machine.

Who can operate an aerial lift at a plant?

The operator of a mobile elevating work platform must hold a UDT qualification certificate (UDT is the Polish Office of Technical Inspection). As standard the machine is operated by the customer's operator. We will train staff without qualifications on a UDT course with an exam, and you can ask about rental with an operator when requesting a quote: this is possible when one of our service technicians qualified as an operator is free on that date.

Do you deliver aerial lifts to plants all over Poland?

Yes. We arrange delivery and collection from our base in Brzoza near Bydgoszcz to customers all over Poland. When a transport slot is free, delivery is often possible within 24 hours of confirmation. Before delivery it is worth agreeing with us the width of gates and doors, the route inside the building and the load capacity of the floor.
