RK Rental repairs and carries out periodic and maintenance inspections of all mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs, also called aerial work platforms or cherry pickers): scissor lifts, articulating boom lifts, telescopic boom lifts and vertical mast lifts. The machines are looked after by qualified mechanics, both at our base and in the field. We also prepare equipment for inspections by UDT (Urząd Dozoru Technicznego, the Polish Office of Technical Inspection).
For our most demanding customers we offer fast service on site or a replacement of the damaged machine, so that work on the project can continue without delays. We use original manufacturer parts or high-quality OEM-grade replacement parts, as agreed with the customer.
We reach the site in a specialised service van with a professional body, equipped with all the necessary tools, diagnostic equipment and analysers, and a small stock of spare parts. Thanks to this we carry out most repairs, inspections and adjustments straight away on the working machine: at your company, in a hall, in a warehouse or on a construction site, wherever the lift is needed. No taking the machine to a workshop and no unnecessary downtime.
The service covers the equipment of our own rental fleet, so machines always reach the site after an inspection and with valid UDT approvals. Diagnosis
A qualified mechanic establishes the cause of the fault and the scope of work, without guessing, based on the actual condition of the machine.
Repair
We carry out the repair or inspection at our base or directly in the field, fitting original parts or high-quality OEM-grade replacement parts, as agreed with the customer.
Back to work
The equipment returns to the site in working order and with valid UDT approvals. If needed and subject to fleet availability, we provide a replacement machine for the time of the repair.

Aerial lift service: frequently asked questions
Do you come to the customer's site: a construction site, a hall or a warehouse?
Yes. We offer a mobile service: a mechanic comes to the machine on a construction site, in a production hall or in a warehouse, so you do not have to transport the equipment to our base.
How much does aerial lift service cost?
A service technician costs PLN 240 + VAT per hour, and when two technicians come it is PLN 300 + VAT per hour for the team (every started hour is charged). Travel is PLN 3.50 + VAT per km, counted one way only (the return is included). Consumables start from PLN 50 + VAT. Spare parts are charged according to a quotation that you accept before the repair. Repairing a hydraulic hose on site means the technician's time from arrival plus the hose according to the price list, from PLN 70 + VAT.
Do you service machines from outside your own fleet?
Yes. We inspect and repair aerial lifts of all brands, regardless of where the equipment was bought or rented.
What happens if the repair takes longer?
For our most demanding customers we offer a replacement machine for the time of the repair, subject to fleet availability, so the downtime on site is shorter.
How quickly do you react to a breakdown?
We have our own mechanics and arrange transport ourselves, so we reach the site either with a replacement machine or ready to repair on the spot.
Do you prepare machines for UDT inspections?
Yes. We carry out periodic and maintenance inspections in line with the manufacturer's requirements and prepare equipment for inspections by the Office of Technical Inspection (UDT, Urząd Dozoru Technicznego).
What parts do you use for repairs?
Original manufacturer parts or high-quality OEM-grade replacement parts with the same specification, the same ones we use when servicing our own fleet. We agree the choice with the customer before the repair, to suit the budget and deadline.
