An electric scissor lift (mobile elevating work platform, MEWP) is the most popular machine for work carried out straight up inside buildings: in halls, warehouses and retail premises, and during finishing work. Its battery drive is quiet and emission-free, so the machine is suitable for indoor use, including at night.
What are electric scissor lifts used for?
The scissor mechanism raises a large, stable platform straight up, giving a comfortable and safe workplace for one or two people with tools and materials. It is the ideal solution for installing services below the ceiling, lighting, ventilation and air conditioning, for electrical, painting and finishing work, and for servicing and maintenance at height.
Electric models have non-marking tyres and compact dimensions, so they can drive on finished floors, fit in goods lifts and pass through standard doorways. The narrowest models are only about 0.76 m wide.
When should I choose an electric scissor lift?
An electric scissor lift is the right choice wherever zero exhaust fumes and quiet operation matter: inside halls and warehouses, in buildings that remain in use, when working above people or food, and at night. It needs firm, level ground, as these machines are not designed for driving on unpaved surfaces.

We arrange transport across Poland
We arrange delivery and collection of machines. When a transport slot is free, delivery is often possible within 24 hours of confirmation. Our base is in Brzoza near Bydgoszcz; we most often deliver to Bydgoszcz, Toruń and Poznań, and we deliver across the whole country.
Machines ready for work, with current UDT inspection
Equipment arrives on site after inspection, with a valid UDT inspection (UDT is the Polish Office of Technical Inspection; where regulations require it) and full documentation. Over 250 machines in the fleet, from well-known brands.
Mobile service and help choosing

Electric scissor lifts: frequently asked questions
Will an electric scissor lift fit through a doorway?
Yes. The narrowest electric models are about 0.76 m wide, so they pass through a standard doorway and fit in a goods lift. When helping you choose a machine, we give the exact transport width of each one.
Can an electric scissor lift be used outdoors?
Yes, on firm, level ground and in good weather, but these machines are designed mainly for indoor use. For unpaved ground and strong wind, a 4×4 diesel rough terrain scissor lift with outriggers is the better choice.
How long does an electric scissor lift run on a single charge?
In typical installation work, a fully charged battery lasts a whole working day. The machine is charged from a 230 V socket after work, and the on-board charger is included.
What licence do I need to operate an electric scissor lift?
The operator must hold a valid UDT licence (UDT is the Polish Office of Technical Inspection) for mobile elevating work platforms. If you do not have a trained employee, you can ask about renting the machine with an operator or take one of our UDT training courses.
Is an electric scissor lift the same as an aerial work platform (MEWP)?
Yes. “Aerial work platform” and “MEWP” (mobile elevating work platform) are the general names for lifts that raise people to work at height, and an electric scissor lift is one type of them.
