What is the Genie Z-34/22 IC used for?
The Genie Z-34/22 IC is a rough terrain articulating cherry picker with a combustion engine, four-wheel drive and 25 × 42 cm rough terrain tyres. The 1.42 × 0.76 m platform holds 2 people with tools, and the 1.22 m jib lets you position the basket precisely at a gutter, beam or light fitting without repositioning the whole machine.
Zero turntable tail swing means that when the upper structure rotates it does not extend beyond the chassis footprint, so the machine can be slewed right next to a wall or within a narrow strip of road. When stowed, the lift travels at up to 4.8 km/h, and with the platform raised at 1.1 km/h. Ground clearance under the chassis is 0.17 m.
Stowed dimensions are 5.66 m in length, 1.85 m in width and 2.06 m in height, with an unladen weight of 4,994 kg, making it one of the lighter rough terrain articulating booms, easy to transport and putting less load on the ground (floor pressure 10.58 kPa). The combustion engine requires good ventilation when working in enclosed buildings.
