Renting the Genie SX-180 diesel telescopic boom lift gives you a working height of 56.86 m, a horizontal outreach of 24.38 m and a basket capacity of 340 kg: a cherry picker for work on very tall industrial structures, bridges and multi-storey buildings. Extendable axles and 4WD give it a stable base on rough ground, and a reach of 0.61 m below ground level makes work on slopes and quaysides easier. RK Rental delivers the machine to Bydgoszcz, Toruń, Poznań and anywhere in Poland.

What is the Genie SX-180 used for?
The Genie SX-180 is an aerial work platform for jobs where a typical telescopic cherry picker is no longer enough. A platform height of 54.86 m lets you reach the upper sections of chimneys, large-volume industrial buildings, power stations, silos and bridge structures. The 0.91 × 2.44 m platform is designed for 2 people, and the 340 kg capacity covers the people together with their tools. The 24.38 m horizontal outreach allows work over obstacles without repositioning the chassis.
In the stowed position the machine is 16.18 m long, 2.49 m wide with the axles retracted and 3.05 m high, and it weighs 24,948 kg. A tyre ground pressure of 896 kPa means that the ground must be well compacted or reinforced with ground plates. Ground clearance of 0.38 m and a wheelbase of 5.03 m make it easier to move around a construction site; with the platform raised the machine travels at 0.65 km/h, and in the stowed position at 3.7 km/h.
When planning the work, allow space for extending the axles and rotating the superstructure (the height under the counterweight is 1.24 m), and plan for refuelling, as the fuel tank holds 189.3 l. Diesel power limits indoor use to buildings with very good ventilation. Compared with smaller telescopic booms, the SX-180 offers considerably greater vertical reach, and its 340 kg basket capacity is higher than on 20–28 m class telescopic booms (227–230 kg); when planning the crew and materials, remember that the basket is rated for 2 people.
