About Aichi
Aichi is a Japanese leader in the aerial lift market and a subsidiary of Toyota Industries Corporation. The company was founded in 1962 as Aichi Sharyo, built its first aerial lift in 1965 and adopted the name Aichi Corporation in 1992.
Its portfolio is very broad: truck-mounted and self-propelled aerial lifts, bridge inspection vehicles and equipment for the energy, rail, telecommunications and shipyard sectors. The flagship SKYMASTER truck-mounted line includes the SH, SN, SK, SJ and SS series. The brand is also developing its own scissor lift technology with an AC motor and an inverter, which extends operating time.
Aichi focuses mainly on the Japanese and Asian markets. In Europe and in Poland its presence is smaller than that of Italian or German manufacturers, but the backing and scale of its owner (Toyota Industries) provide strong engineering capabilities and high quality.
