About Comet
Comet (CO.ME.T. Officine) is an Italian manufacturer of truck-mounted aerial lifts, operating since 1960 and based in the Bologna area. The company describes itself as one of the first to introduce the concept of the work-at-height platform in Europe.
The flagship line is the EUROSKY family of articulating lifts with a jib, and designations such as 31/2/17 describe the machine configuration (height, number of sections, outreach). Comet also offers insulated platforms, which set it apart on the market, and the EUROFLAG line for fire and rescue services.
The brand builds models on very light chassis (e.g. the LPG-powered Piaggio Porter) for urban work and green space maintenance. It is a manufacturer with a long tradition, present in Europe in the niche of insulated and specialist platforms.
