Manitou machine service

Manitou is the French global leader in the telehandler market, headquartered in Ancenis. The Braud family business had been operating since 1944; in 1958 Marcel Braud built the first Manitou rough terrain forklift truck, and the brand took its name from that machine. In 1981 the company introduced the Maniscopic range, combining the functions of a forklift truck, a crane and a loader.

Manitou has produced aerial work platforms since 1992, and in 1993 it presented its first MRT rotating telehandler. The group operates under the Manitou, Gehl and Mustang by Manitou brands and is listed on Euronext Paris. In 2023 it achieved record revenue of EUR 2.87 billion and employed about 5,500 people.

The brand is the global leader in telehandlers with a market share of about 22%. The range covers construction telehandlers (MT), agricultural telehandlers (MLT), 360° rotating telehandlers (MRT), heavy-duty telehandlers (MHT) and articulated telescopic loaders (MLA), as well as aerial work platforms: articulating (ATJ), telescopic and mast lifts (AETJ, VJR) with working heights of approx. 9–28 m.

Manitou is investing heavily in electrification: in 2019 it presented the first electric rough terrain aerial work platform with a 20 m reach, and in 2022 it acquired the lithium-ion battery manufacturer easyLi. The company has an extensive international presence, including Manitou Polska since 2007.

Manitou machines are part of our fleet: we service them, supply parts, carry out maintenance inspections and service life assessments, and prepare machines for UDT inspections.
