About Palfinger
Palfinger is an Austrian group based in Bergheim near Salzburg, above all the world leader in loader cranes (HDS), for which truck-mounted aerial lifts are one of its business lines. The company's history goes back to 1932 and Richard Palfinger's workshop, and its first crane was built in 1959.
The group generates revenue of around €2.3 billion, employs approx. 12,000 people and exports to more than 130 countries, with a network of more than 5,000 sales and service points. Assembly of European platforms is concentrated at the plant in Löbau, Germany.
In the aerial lift segment, Palfinger is the only manufacturer offering both insulated and non-insulated machines in the 13–90 m range, for chassis from 3.5 to 60 tonnes. The flagship Top Class model P 900 reaches a working height of approx. 90 m, and the eDRIVE line (e.g. P 280 CK) is a low-emission electric drive.
RK Rental services Palfinger lifts: repairs, maintenance inspections and UDT preparation, parts and service life assessment.
Fun fact
Palfinger, known for its cranes, entered the truck-mounted platform market by acquiring Bison (2004) and the ELEVANT division of Wumag (2008).
