About Ruthmann
Ruthmann is a German manufacturer of truck-mounted aerial lifts, whose STEIGER brand has become virtually synonymous with the truck-mounted lift in Europe. The company was founded in 1901 by Anton Ruthmann, and the first STEIGER platform was built and sold to the city of Duisburg in 1954.
The company is headquartered in Gescher-Hochmoor in North Rhine-Westphalia, and its turnover reaches about EUR 150 million. Since 2021 Ruthmann has belonged to the American Time Manufacturing group (owner of the Versalift brand, among others).
The range covers the widest span of heights in the industry: from compact units on 3.5-tonne chassis to the STEIGER T 1000 HF with a working height of 100 m, the brand's largest model (the T 900 HF reaches 90 m). The letter and number designations indicate the working height (e.g. T 330 means 33 m). The brand also produces tracked lifts under the BLUELIFT line.
Ruthmann has a strong, well-established position in the premium segment in Europe and in Poland, as well as an extensive service network. RK Rental services Ruthmann lifts: repairs, maintenance inspections and UDT preparation, parts and service life assessment.
Fun fact
In 2001 Ruthmann unveiled the TTS 100, the first truck-mounted lift to reach 100 metres.

Flagship model: Ruthmann STEIGER T 900 HF
The STEIGER T 900 HF (90 m) is one of Ruthmann’s largest aerial lifts and the brand’s showpiece; only the new T 1000 HF (100 m) reaches higher. It shows how far the brand has pushed truck-mounted lift technology.
