About Skyjack
Skyjack is a Canadian manufacturer of aerial work platforms based in Guelph, Ontario, known above all for its scissor lifts. The company was founded in 1985, and by the early 1990s its share of the scissor lift market already exceeded 30%.
Since 2002 Skyjack has been a division of the Canadian industrial corporation Linamar, which employs more than 28,000 people. In 2013 the company built its 250,000th machine and the 100,000th unit of its iconic SJIII 3219 model.
The portfolio includes scissor lifts (electric and rough terrain), articulating and telescopic boom lifts, vertical mast lifts and telehandlers. Skyjack entered the telehandler segment through acquisitions in 2007–2008.
The brand is developing electric technologies and telematics: the ELEVATE platform and E-Drive systems in its scissor lifts. Skyjack is present in Europe through Skyjack Europe and ranks among the world’s leading MEWP manufacturers.
