Code 141 occurs in machines: Genie Z-80/60, S-80, S-85, GS-3384 RT, GS-3390, GS-4390, GS-5390, Z-60/34, S-40, S-45.
warning / function limited
The Genie display shows code 141 with the message “Adaptive Lean Fault - High Limit (Gasoline)”. It is a warning: some functions of the machine may be limited until the cause has been removed.
Possible causes
- Heated Oxygen Sensor wiring and/or connections open or shorted.
- sensor is faulty.
- there are vacuum or exhaust leaks.
- one or more fuel injectors faulty or stuck closed.
- fuel quality is poor.
- fuel pressure is too low.
What you can do
Switch the machine off with the emergency stop and switch it on again. If the code comes back, do not use the machine and call service.
Solution from the manual
Repair heated oxygen sensor wiring and/or connections OR replace sensor OR repair vacuum and exhaust leaks OR test the fuel pressure OR clean or replace the fuel injectors.
