Aerial lift service · a brand from our fleet
Genie lift service
Genie is an American brand of aerial work platforms owned by the Terex corporation, and one of the three largest MEWP manufacturers in the world. Genie lifts are part of our fleet, so we know them inside out: we service them, supply parts and prepare them for UDT inspections.
About Genie
Genie is one of the most recognisable aerial work platform brands in the world. The company was founded in 1966 by Bud Bushnell. The name Genie came from the distinctive hiss of compressed air that raised the first material lifts: it sounded like a genie escaping from a bottle. From that idea the brand has come a long way to a full range of access machines.
In 2002 Genie was acquired by the American Terex corporation and today forms its Terex AWP (Aerial Work Platforms) segment. Its headquarters are in Bothell, Washington, and it also has production plants in Redmond, China, Italy and the United Kingdom. The company employs more than 3,800 people at more than a dozen locations worldwide.
The Genie range covers scissor lifts (GS series, including rough terrain models), articulating boom lifts (Z series), telescopic boom lifts (S and SX series), vertical masts, Genie Lift material lifts and telehandlers (GTH). Heights range from a few metres up to the tallest telescopic booms, which exceed 50 m working height. A milestone was the first Z-boom articulating lift in 1984.
In the AccessM20 industry ranking (Access International/KHL), Terex/Genie ranks second in the world among access equipment manufacturers, just behind JLG. The vast majority of production goes to equipment rental companies. The brand is strongly developing electric, hybrid (FE versions) and zero-emission lithium-ion drives. Genie has a wide presence in Europe, including Poland.
Genie lifts are part of our fleet, so we know them inside out: we service them, supply parts, carry out periodic inspections and prepare them for UDT inspections.

Where do Genie machines work best?
Genie lifts work on construction sites, in industrial halls, high-bay warehouses and in maintenance. Electric scissor lifts handle building interiors and logistics, articulating and telescopic booms handle façades and steel structures, and GTH telehandlers handle materials at height.
Flagship model: Genie Z-45
The Z-45 articulating boom lift is one of the brand's most recognisable lifts: approx. 16 m working height, electric or engine drive, and the ability to reach over and beyond obstacles (up-and-over). It works well on façades and structures.
