Message on the display: Never Crank Synced At Start
Code 243 occurs in machines: Genie Z-80/60, S-80, S-85, GS-3384 RT, GS-3390, GS-4390, GS-5390, Z-60/34, S-40, S-45.
blocking fault
The Genie display shows code 243 with the message “Never Crank Synced At Start”. It is a blocking fault or a safety-related code: do not use the machine until the cause has been found and removed.
Possible causes
- Crankshaft position sensor wiring and/or connections open or shorted.
- there is a poor system ground connection.
- sensor is faulty.
What you can do
Switch the machine off with the emergency stop and switch it on again. If the code comes back, do not use the machine and call service.
Solution from the manual
Be sure system ground connections are in place and secure OR repair wiring and/or connections to sensor OR replace sensor.
