Code 316 occurs in machines: Genie Z-80/60, S-80, S-85, GS-3384 RT, GS-3390, GS-4390, GS-5390, Z-60/34, S-40, S-45.

The Genie display shows code 316 with the message “Injector Driver #3 Shorted”. It is a warning: some functions of the machine may be limited until the cause has been removed.
Possible causes
- Wiring and/or connections to fuel injector #3 shorted.
- fuel injector #3 is faulty.
- ECM is faulty.
What you can do
Switch the machine off with the emergency stop and switch it on again. If the code comes back, do not use the machine and call service.
Solution from the manual
Repair wiring and/or connections to fuel injector #3 OR replace fuel injector #3 OR replace the ECM.
