Genie error code C001 — GCON ECM FAULT TYPE 1
Message on the display: GCON ECM FAULT TYPE 1
Code C001 occurs in machines: Genie GS30, GS32, GS46 & GS47.

Effect on the machine: All functions inhibited.
Possible causes
- Incorrect software file.
- GCON ECM internal failure.
What you can do
Switch the machine off with the emergency stop and switch it on again. If the code comes back, do not use the machine and call service.
What service does
A qualified service technician reads the code with the manufacturer's diagnostic tools, finds the cause, clears the code and carries out a function test.
