Genie error code F057 — MOTOR RR ENCODER FAULT
Message on the display: MOTOR RR ENCODER FAULT
Code F057 occurs in machines: Genie GS-2669 BE, GS-3369 BE, GS-4069 BE, GS-2669 DC, GS-3369 DC, GS-4069 DC.
blocking fault
Return signal from the right rear drive motor encoder to the right rear drive controller is 40 Hz or higher.

Effect on the machine: All functions inhibited.
Possible causes
- Short or open circuit of the drive motor encoder.
- Faulty encoder in right rear drive motor.
- Faulty right rear drive motor.
- Right rear DCON ECM.
What you can do
Switch the machine off with the emergency stop and switch it on again. If the code comes back, do not use the machine and call service.
What service does
A qualified service technician reads the code with the manufacturer's diagnostic tools, finds the cause, clears the code and carries out a function test.
