Genie message — LOCK OUT VALVE P1 FAULT
This message occurs in machines: Genie S-100, S-105, S-120, S-125.
blocking fault
The Genie display shows this message as “LOCK OUT VALVE P1 FAULT”. It is a blocking fault or a safety-related code: do not use the machine until the cause has been found and removed.
Effect on the machine: Retract function inoperative when boom length is <100’.
Possible causes
- Boom retract lockout valve coil circuit open or shorted to ground or the coil itself is bad.
What you can do
Switch the machine off with the emergency stop and switch it on again. If the code comes back, do not use the machine and call service.
