The Genie display shows this message as “PRESS PLATFORM ESTOP”. It is an information message and does not need any reaction.
Effect on the machine: Code displayed whenever engine is running and controller is waiting for engine to be shut off to save calibrations or any parameter changes made with the display to memory.
Possible causes
- Just finished a speed calibration for boom up/dwn, ext.ret, or turntable rotate or Joysticks were calibrated with engine running or a function parameter was changed with the display while the engine was running.
What you can do
Switch the machine off with the emergency stop and switch it on again. If the code comes back, do not use the machine and call service.
Solution from the manual
Turn key switch to platform control position and depress platform Emergency stop.
