The Genie display shows this message as “SAFETY SWITCH P6R2 FAULT”. It is a blocking fault or a safety-related code: do not use the machine until the cause has been found and removed.
Effect on the machine: Engine cranks but won’t start.
Possible causes
- Bad K3 relay inside turntable control box.
What you can do
Switch the machine off with the emergency stop and switch it on again. If the code comes back, do not use the machine and call service.

Replace K3 relay or consult Genie Industries Service Department.
