Haulotte error code F07.04 — Boom Angle

Message on the display: Boom Angle

Code F07.04 occurs in machines: Haulotte HA20LE, HA61LE, HA20LE PRO, HA61LE PRO.

blocking fault

To erase F07.04 failure: fold the machine completely (boom telescope, then arm and boom), check the position detectors (repair if one is broken), power OFF the machine and then power ON. If failure is still active then one of the six detectors defining the machine position is not in the expected state. [case 1] B0 Voltage failure of SQ523 sensor : -->SQ523 > 6.00V [case 2] B1 Incoherence between boom position sensors : Falling edge on boom high detector out of the allowed zone (boom limit not detected) -->SQ521= & SQ523=OFF [case 4] B2 Incoherence between boom position sensors : Raising edge on boom high detector out of the allowed zone (boom limit not detected) -->SQ521= & SQ523=OFF [case 8] B3 Incoherence between boom position sensors : Raising edge on limit switch angle sensor during boom descent movement and boom not detected in high position -- >SQ523= & SQ521=OFF & CTRL[Boom] = D [case 16] B4 Incoherence between boom position sensors : Falling edge on boom zone magnet detector not in allowed zone (limit switch sensor active) during boom descent -- >SQ523= & SQ521=ON & CTRL[Boom] = D [case 32] B5 Incoherence between boom limit sensor and boom down sensor --> SQ521=ON & SQ520=ON [case 64] B6 Incoherence between boom high detector and boom down detector --> SQ523=ON & SQ520=ON

Description from the Haulotte service manual, in the original wording.

Possible causes

The manual does not list the causes for this code: the service technician establishes them during diagnosis of the machine.

What you can do

Switch the machine off with the emergency stop and switch it on again. If the code comes back, do not use the machine and call service.

What service does

A qualified service technician reads the code with the manufacturer's diagnostic tools, finds the cause, clears the code and carries out a function test.
