Code 53 occurs in machines: Zoomlion ZS0407, ZS0607, ZS0608, ZS0808, ZS0812, ZS1012, ZS1212, ZS1414.

The Zoomlion service manual names code 53 “Reverse Coil Fault” (our translation of the Polish edition). It is a blocking fault or a safety-related code: do not use the machine until the cause has been found and removed.
Effect on the machine: Disable Lifting and Driving
Possible causes
The manual does not list the causes for this code: the service technician establishes them during diagnosis of the machine.
What you can do
Switch the machine off with the emergency stop and switch it on again. If the code comes back, do not use the machine and call service.
Solution from the manual
Check the connections to the coil terminals and make sure they are tight. If so, check the coil itself for an open or short circuit.
