The Genie GS-3232 is a narrow electric scissor lift that reaches an 11.60 m working height with a width of 0.81 m. It therefore combines the advantages of a small platform, such as getting through narrow passages, corridors and aisles between racks, with enough height to work beneath the ceilings of many halls and atriums. Non-marking tyres and no exhaust fumes allow it to be used in operational buildings such as shops, office buildings and hospitals.
The 2.16 × 0.78 m platform with a 0.9 m deck extension carries 227 kg and is rated for two people indoors and one person outdoors. The machine can be driven with the platform raised to 6.71 m, and the zero inside turning radius makes turning in tight spaces easier. Guardrails 1.10 m high and a 15 cm toe board protect the operator and tools from falling.
When choosing, pay attention to the ground: the unladen weight is 2,451 kg and the maximum wheel load is 870 kg, which matters on floor slabs, mezzanines and floors with delicate finishes. With the guardrails folded, the machine is 2.00 m high. Compared with the wider GS-3246, it offers a lower capacity but fits where a width of 1.17 m is already too much.
