Code 24-19 occurs in machines: Genie Z-60 DC, S-60 DC, Z-45 DC, Z-45 FE.

The Genie display shows code 24-19 with the message “Primary Boom Angle Sensor — Out of Range”. It is a blocking fault or a safety-related code: do not use the machine until the cause has been found and removed.
Effect on the machine: Act as if in Out of Stowed position · elevated drive speed · no elevated drive due to tilt drive cutout on CE units Note: Driving at 2 MPH is allowed if primary and secondary angle sensors are calibrated and the mV value is close to the calibrated, stowed value
Possible causes
- Reported angle sensor value out outside normal range more than 3 degrees
What you can do
Switch the machine off with the emergency stop and switch it on again. If the code comes back, do not use the machine and call service.

Verify: · 5V from C27-5 to C12-C (P109PWR GR/WH) · B- at Pin C12-A · Signal Output approximately 1000 - 4000 mV across range of motion at LRDCON C27- 16 C123 PBS RD/BK) · Cycle Power with problem corrected to clear fault To Calibrate: · Stowed mV must be between 2600 & 3400 mV · Elevated mV must be between 400 & 1200 mV
