The Genie display shows code 31-11 with the message “Secondary Up/Down Joystick — Shorted to Supply”. It is a blocking fault or a safety-related code: do not use the machine until the cause has been found and removed.
Effect on the machine: Secondary Boom disabled

Switch the machine off with the emergency stop and switch it on again. If the code comes back, do not use the machine and call service.

Verify: · 5V at JC1-2 (P162JW OR) · B- at JC1-1 (JSGND BR) · 500 to 4500 mV at JC1- 3 & VCON C48-6 (C161 SB WH/BK) through joystick motion
