The Genie display shows code 81-27 with the message “Wall Powered Charger Error Codes — USB overcurrent fault”. It is a warning: some functions of the machine may be limited until the cause has been removed.

Possible causes

  • USB hardware overcurrent protection has been tripped

What you can do

Switch the machine off with the emergency stop and switch it on again. If the code comes back, do not use the machine and call service.

Solution from the manual

Remove and reinsert USB flash drive. (If condition persists, try using a different USB flash drive.)
