The Genie display shows code 81-7 with the message “Wall Powered Charger Error Codes — Ah Limit Exceeded”. It is a warning: some functions of the machine may be limited until the cause has been removed.

Possible causes

  • Safety limit exceeded, possible causes: · Poor battery health. · Discharged battery. · Poorly connected battery. · High parasitic loads on battery while charging.

What you can do

Switch the machine off with the emergency stop and switch it on again. If the code comes back, do not use the machine and call service.

Solution from the manual

· Replace battery pack · Check DC connections · Disconnect parasitic loads (This error will automatically clear once the charger is reset by cycling DC.)
