Genie error code 231 — MAP High Pressure
Message on the display: MAP High Pressure
Code 231 occurs in machines: Genie Z-80/60, S-80, S-85, GS-3384 RT, GS-3390, GS-4390, GS-5390, Z-60/34, S-40, S-45.
warning / function limited
The Genie display shows code 231 with the message “MAP High Pressure”. It is a warning: some functions of the machine may be limited until the cause has been removed.
Possible causes
- Open or shorted wiring and/or connections to MAP sensor.
- sensor is faulty.
What you can do
Switch the machine off with the emergency stop and switch it on again. If the code comes back, do not use the machine and call service.
Solution from the manual
Repair wiring and/or connections to sensor OR replace MAP sensor.
