Genie error code 355 — MegaJector communication lost
Message on the display: MegaJector communication lost
Code 355 occurs in machines: Genie Z-80/60, S-80, S-85, GS-3384 RT, GS-3390, GS-4390, GS-5390, Z-60/34, S-40, S-45.
warning / function limited
The Genie display shows code 355 with the message “MegaJector communication lost”. It is a warning: some functions of the machine may be limited until the cause has been removed.
Possible causes
- The ECM doesn’t get any response from the MegaJector, or an incorrect response for 500ms period or longer.
What you can do
Switch the machine off with the emergency stop and switch it on again. If the code comes back, do not use the machine and call service.
Solution from the manual
Check CAN circuits for continuity and shorts to power or ground and for continuity and repair as necessary OR replace the MegaJector.
