Genie error code 47 — No power output from ECM to the left front and right rear drive reverse valve coil OR ECM does not sense the left front and right rear drive reverse valve coil.
Message on the display: No power output from ECM to the left front and right rear drive reverse valve coil OR ECM does not sense the left front and right rear drive reverse valve coil.
Code 47 occurs in machines: Genie GS-2668 RT, GS-3268 RT.
blocking fault
The Genie display shows code 47 with the message “No power output from ECM to the left front and right rear drive reverse valve coil OR ECM does not sense the left front and right rear drive reverse valve coil”. It is a blocking fault or a safety-related code: do not use the machine until the cause has been found and removed.
Effect on the machine: Machine will not drive in reverse.
Possible causes
- No power output from ECM to left front and right rear drive reverse valve coil (schematic item B).
- bad valve coil.
What you can do
Switch the machine off with the emergency stop and switch it on again. If the code comes back, do not use the machine and call service.
Solution from the manual
Check wiring and terminals to left front and right rear drive reverse valve coil OR check the wiring and terminal at the ECM OR replace the valve coil.
