Code F14 occurs in machines: Genie GS-1332m, GS-1432m, GS-1932m, GS-1932, GS-2632, GS-3232, GS-2646, GS-3246, GS-4046, GS-4655.
blocking fault
The Genie display shows code F14 with the message “Pre-discharge”. It is a blocking fault or a safety-related code: do not use the machine until the cause has been found and removed.
Possible causes
The manual does not list the causes for this code: the service technician establishes them during diagnosis of the machine.
What you can do
Switch the machine off with the emergency stop and switch it on again. If the code comes back, do not use the machine and call service.
Solution from the manual
Enable the battery without load and check if fault goes away. If fault is not present, reconnect to system. If fault persists, disconnect and replace battery.
