The Genie display shows code 100-9 with the message “Platform Level Up Coil — Shorted to GND”. It is a blocking fault or a safety-related code: do not use the machine until the cause has been found and removed.
Effect on the machine: Platform Level Up function will not operate.
Possible causes
- PCON detected that V14PLU circuit is shorted to GND.
What you can do
Switch the machine off with the emergency stop and switch it on again. If the code comes back, do not use the machine and call service.
Solution from the manual
* With a voltmeter, measure Y20. Proper resistance should be between 5 - 60 ohms. Replace Y20 if resistance is outside of those values.
