Code 69-9 occurs in machines: Genie S-40 XC.

The Genie display shows code 69-9 with the message “AC Generator Output — Shorted to GND”. It is a blocking fault or a safety-related code: do not use the machine until the cause has been found and removed.
Effect on the machine: Generator function will not operate.
Possible causes
- TCON detected that C45GEN circuit is shorted to GND.
What you can do
Switch the machine off with the emergency stop and switch it on again. If the code comes back, do not use the machine and call service.
Solution from the manual
* With a voltmeter, measure Y29. Proper resistance should be between 5 - 60 ohms. Replace Y29 if resistance is outside of those values.
