Code 76-13 occurs in machines: Genie S-40 XC.

The Genie display shows code 76-13 with the message “Platform Load Sensor — Not detected”. It is a blocking fault or a safety-related code: do not use the machine until the cause has been found and removed.
Effect on the machine: Boom Up, Extend and Turntable Rotate functions will not operate.
Possible causes
- Load sensor not detected on the communications bus.
What you can do
Switch the machine off with the emergency stop and switch it on again. If the code comes back, do not use the machine and call service.
Solution from the manual
* Verify sensor power P26PWR (BK, PCON J13-9) is at 12 V while the system is running. * Verify 12 V across pins on C27-2 (+) and C27-3 (-) on the harness connector. * Measure resistance across C27 pins 4 and 5 on the harness connector. If resistance is not between 55 and 65 ohms, check CAN wire harnesses. * Replace sensor if necessary.
