The Genie display shows code 273-21 with the message “Pump Motor 1 Speed Sensor — Fault”. It is a blocking fault or a safety-related code: do not use the machine until the cause has been found and removed.
Effect on the machine: Shutdown EM Brake; Motor disabled.
Possible causes
- 1. Motor encoder failure. 2. Bad crimps or faulty wiring. 3. See Monitor menu » Motor: Motor RPM.
What you can do
Switch the machine off with the emergency stop and switch it on again. If the code comes back, do not use the machine and call service.
