Code 19-19 occurs in machines: Genie S-60 XC, S-80 XC, S-85 XC, S-80 HF, S-85 HF.

warning / function limited

The Genie display shows code 19-19 with the message “APU Solenoid and Switch — Stuck ON at power up”. It is a warning: some functions of the machine may be limited until the cause has been removed.

Effect on the machine: Auxiliary Power function will not operate from platform.

Possible causes

  • Toggle switch input was detected as HIGH at start-up.

What you can do

Switch the machine off with the emergency stop and switch it on again. If the code comes back, do not use the machine and call service.

Solution from the manual

Verify with a voltmeter that the AUX Power Switch (TS1) is operating properly. * C47AUX (RD, PCON J17-10) should be 0 V with the switch OFF and 12 V with the switch ON. Cycle power to allow the machine to re- test the fault.
