The Genie display shows code 23-15 with the message “Primary Boom Down Valve — Circuit shorted to GND”. It is a blocking fault or a safety-related code: do not use the machine until the cause has been found and removed.
Effect on the machine: Boom Up and Down functions will not operate.
Possible causes
- TCON detected that C2PBD circuit is shorted to GND.
What you can do
Switch the machine off with the emergency stop and switch it on again. If the code comes back, do not use the machine and call service.
Solution from the manual
* Verify resistance between Recovery Module pins J37-2 and J37-11 is zero ohms.
