The Genie display shows code 243-19 with the message “Proximity Override Toggle Switch — Stuck ON at power up”. It is a warning: some functions of the machine may be limited until the cause has been removed.
Effect on the machine: Operator will be unable to override the proximity cutoff feature.
Possible causes
- Toggle switch input was detected as HIGH at start-up.
What you can do
Switch the machine off with the emergency stop and switch it on again. If the code comes back, do not use the machine and call service.
Solution from the manual
Verify with a voltmeter that the Proximity Override Toggle Switch (TS46) is operating properly. * C90PRX (RD/BK, PCON J17-9) should be 12 V when the switch is pressed. Cycle power to allow the machine to re- test the fault.
