The Genie display shows code 27-15 with the message “Primary Boom Retract Valve — Circuit shorted to GND”. It is a blocking fault or a safety-related code: do not use the machine until the cause has been found and removed.
Effect on the machine: Boom Extend and Retract functions will not operate.
Possible causes
- TCON detected that C8PBR circuit is shorted to GND.
What you can do
Switch the machine off with the emergency stop and switch it on again. If the code comes back, do not use the machine and call service.
Solution from the manual
J4-8) and check for open or short circuits. * Verify resistance between Recovery Module pins J37-5 and J37-8 is zero ohms.
