The Genie display shows code 61-19 with the message “Steer Joystick — Joystick held at startup”. It is a warning: some functions of the machine may be limited until the cause has been removed.
Effect on the machine: Drive and steer functions will not operate.
Possible causes
- Circuit C159STD or C159STA voltage was not within the startup voltage range of 2.5 V +/- 0.2 V.
What you can do
Switch the machine off with the emergency stop and switch it on again. If the code comes back, do not use the machine and call service.
Solution from the manual
circuit is at 2. 5V +/- 0.2 V at startup and does not go above 4.5 V or below 0.5 V when fully stroked in each direction. * Replace joystick if voltage check fails.
