The Genie display shows code 74-15 with the message “Engine Temperature — Sensor value too low”. It is a blocking fault or a safety-related code: do not use the machine until the cause has been found and removed.
Effect on the machine: Engine will not operate.
Possible causes
- Engine temperature sensor is shorted to ground.
What you can do
Switch the machine off with the emergency stop and switch it on again. If the code comes back, do not use the machine and call service.
Solution from the manual
* With a voltmeter, check that C26TSR ( WH/RD, TCON J6P8) is not shorted to ground and voltage is between 0.1-11.5V. * Replace sensor if necessary.
