Code 8450 occurs in machines: JLG 1250AJP, 1100S, 1100SJP.
blocking fault
The UGM detected a new boom angle sensor has been installed at the boom angle sensor #1 location. Machine is placed in retreival sequence for recovery. Fault cleared with power cycle but will continue to show until correct sensor is reinstalled or a boom sensor calibration is successful.

Checks from the manual
- Verify CANbus wiring per electrical schematic, verify CANbus resistance. Verify BLAM is still communicating with the UGM. Verify boom angle sensor wiring is correct. Verify the same manufacture's sensor is installed for both sensor 1 and 2. Verify sensor has not been changed.

A qualified service technician reads the code with the manufacturer's diagnostic tools, finds the cause, clears the code and carries out a function test.
