What is the JLG E600JP used for?
The JLG E600JP is a 20 m class electric articulating cherry picker whose greatest strength is its 13.54 m horizontal outreach (14.19 m working outreach with the jib). It lets you position the basket over obstacles, above installations or deep inside a hall without driving right up to the work point. A platform height of 18.39 m is enough for installation and maintenance under high ceilings, on façades and on steel structures.
Electric power eliminates exhaust fumes, so the machine works well in production halls, warehouses and public buildings, while 4WD with rough terrain, non-marking tyres lets you take it out onto a construction site as well. With transport dimensions of 10.15 × 2.42 × 2.54 m and a weight of 7,815 kg, you should check the width and height of gates, the space for manoeuvring and the permissible floor load in advance.
When choosing in the approximately 20 m class, it is worth comparing the E600JP with the related JLG M600JP: both models have the same 13.54 m horizontal outreach and the same 10.15 m transport length; the E600JP is fully electric, also intended for outdoor use and lighter (7,815 kg compared with 8,015 kg), while the M600JP additionally has a charging generator. If the job requires reaching far to the side with quiet, fume-free operation, the E600JP will be a better choice than a typical indoor aerial work platform.
- Installing services under ceilings
- Work requiring long horizontal outreach
- Steel structures of halls
- Façades with difficult access
- Lighting maintenance in buildings
