What is the JLG M600JP Bi-Energy used for?
The JLG M600JP is a large aerial work platform with an articulating boom that combines the reach typical of rough terrain machines with quiet battery operation. Eight 6 V batteries with a capacity of 415 Ah power two electric drive motors and the hydraulic pump, while an automatic Kubota 5 kW generator recharges them during work. As a result, the cherry picker can work longer away from a power socket, with less downtime for charging.
Non-marking tyres protect industrial floors, while 4WD and 30% gradeability make it easier to drive up ramps. Inside buildings it is best to work in battery mode and to run the generator only where ventilation allows. When planning access, take into account the 2.42 m width, 2.54 m stowed height, 10.15 m transport length and 8,015 kg weight; the floor must withstand a pressure of up to 3.9 kg/cm².
When choosing a machine in the approximately 20 m class, look at the jib: the 1.24 m jib works through a 145° range (+89° / −56°) and rotates 180° horizontally (JibPLUS), which makes it easier to reach installations between girders. The 0.76 × 1.83 m platform holds tools and materials, and the turret rotates through 400°. In the working position the rear of the turret swings out by 1.23 m, and this space must be kept clear during rotation.
