What is the Haulotte Compact 14 used for?
The Haulotte Compact 14 is an electric scissor lift for indoor work, with a platform that rises to 11.75 m. The 2.4 × 1.17 m work platform with a 0.92 m slide-out extension reaches a total length of 3.32 m, which gives room for a crew and materials; this is useful when installing services along the ceiling, ventilation ducts or roof structure elements.
The unladen weight of 3,070 kg means the load capacity of the floor, floor slab or goods lift must be checked before driving on. The 1.2 m width allows it to pass through gates and double doors, and without guardrails the machine is 2.02 m high, which should be taken into account for lower access openings. Power from 24 V batteries with a capacity of 225 Ah allows work with no exhaust fumes in enclosed spaces.
The permissible tilt during work is 3.5° longitudinally and 1.5° laterally, and once the platform is raised the pothole guards deploy, reducing the ground clearance to 2 cm, which protects against a wheel dropping into an uneven patch in the floor. When choosing between a 12-metre and a 14-metre scissor lift, the ceiling height is decisive: the Compact 14 gives a 13.75 m working height, climbs gradients of up to 25% and has three drive speed ranges (0.7 / 1.5 / 4.2 km/h).
