What is the Iteco 12122 used for?
The Iteco 12122 is a scissor lift in the 14-metre class, designed for indoor work. The 2.26 × 1.20 m platform with a manually extended deck takes 3 people and a total of 350 kg, and the guardrails are 1.13 m high. The 24 V supply with 300 Ah batteries and a 3.0 kW power unit means no exhaust fumes and quiet operation, which matters in operational halls, warehouses and public buildings.
When choosing, pay attention to access and the ground: the 1.22 m width and the 2.11 m height with the guardrails folded require a gate or a wide door opening. The unladen weight of 3,085 kg is important when driving onto floor slabs and ramps. The machine tolerates a tilt of 2° laterally and 3° longitudinally, so it works best on a level, paved floor, which its non-marking tyres will not mark.
Compared with wider scissor lifts of similar reach, the 12122 manoeuvres more easily in aisles: the wheels steer through 90°, and the outside turning radius is 2.35 m. Driving with the platform raised at 0.7 km/h lets you move along installations without coming down, which speeds up installing lighting, sprinklers or ventilation ducts beneath the ceiling.
