What is the JLG 2646ES used for?
The JLG 2646ES is a 10-metre class electric MEWP that raises its platform to 7.92 m. The 2.50 × 1.12 m platform, enlarged by a 1.27 m deck extension, provides space for tools and materials, and the 450 kg capacity allows two people to work inside a building. The machine is well suited to installing services, ceilings, lighting and structures in industrial buildings, logistics centres and retail premises.
Unlike models designed only for indoor halls, the JLG 2646ES can also work outdoors, in which case two people may be on the platform (230 kg capacity). The ground must be level and firm, because the ground clearance is 130 mm and the 2WD drive is not designed for soft construction site ground. Non-marking tyres protect floors indoors. When driving onto a floor slab, take into account the unladen weight of 2,600 kg and the maximum ground pressure of 6.98 kg/cm².
With the guardrails folded, the machine height drops from 2.39 m to 2.01 m, which makes it easier to drive through gates and lower openings. Compared with the Genie GS-2646 of the same width, the JLG is heavier, but it also works outdoors and has a longer platform (2.50 versus 2.26 m). A zero inner turning radius makes manoeuvring easier. We supply this scissor lift with a current UDT inspection, and the RK Rental mobile service team comes out if needed.
