Haulotte: the manufacturer in brief

Haulotte is one of the leading European manufacturers of aerial work platforms. The brand was formed from the merger of two companies with a long tradition: Pinguely, founded in 1881 in Lyon, and the A. Haulotte works from 1924. Both were taken over in 1985 by Pierre Saubot, and since 2005 the company has operated as Haulotte Group.

The headquarters are in L'Horme, France, and production takes place in three French factories as well as in Spain, the USA and Romania. The company is listed on the Euronext stock exchange in Paris, and its revenue in 2023 exceeded EUR 759 million. In 2008 Haulotte strengthened its presence in the USA by acquiring the manufacturer Bil-Jax.
